The ANNENBERG SPACE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY in Los Angeles is the only place on the West Coast you can catch the “WHO SHOT ROCK & ROLL” exhibit, and it’s opening this Saturday, June 23.
The exhibit is a photographic tour through the history of rock & roll from 1955 to present, and features iconic images of rock royalty taken by legendary photographers.
This video will give taste of some of the images that will be on display.
Exclusive for the Annenberg show is an original documentary with new photographs and interviews from the photographers featured in the exhibit, displayed on two screens in 4K resolution.
The exhibit photographers will also be giving lectures at the Annenberg, as a part of their Iris Night Lectures series. Listen to talks from Henry Rollins, Ed Colver, Henry Diltz and many more.
The Anneneberg has also teamed up with KCRW to bring in live music acts every Saturday for the month of July. Moby, Portugal. The Man, Raphael Saadiq, and Band of Skulls are some of the acts that will be performing.
“Who Shot Rock & Roll” is showing from June 23 – October 7.
