The set times for all four days are up, so you can plan out your weekend. If you miss an artist early in the festival, you might be able to catch them at the BLOCK PARTY that closes out the festival on Sunday, so look to see who plays twice.
FILTER has partnered with the legendary comedy theatre, UPRIGHT CITIZENS BRIGADE, to bring some laughter to the festival. (Note: I’m really stoked that more festivals are booking comedy acts. Music and Comedy CAN share the same space.)
You can catch COMEDY COLLIDE at 826LA from 8 – 11p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. There you can bust a gut to the comedic monologues, or the stand-up of Matt Braunger, Howard Kremer, Natasha Leggero, Matt Besser and more.
FILTER is kicking off the weekend by throwing a party at the french restaurant, and my CULTURE COLLIDE headquarters last year, TAIX.
This is a free event with your purchase of the $20 wristband, and a RSVP here.
Yet another new addition to the festival, and according to the press release it’s going to bring “together an eclectic mix of influential speakers from music, entertainment and lifestyle industries with delegates from around the world to discuss brand partnerships, record sales, touring, digital marketing strategies and more.”
The seminar’s are taking place Thursday and Friday at TAIX from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m, and admission is free with your wristband.
$20 FESTIVAL WRISTBANDS ARE STILL AVAILABLE HERE and will give you access to all of the events from above.
See you there!
