Bits and pieces of last weeks EDC 2009 still coming in and out as I sit here and edit photos of what seemed to look and feel like a baby Coachella Music and Art Festival. It’s pretty hard to argue without witnessing for yourself how more of these electronic events are steering away from their traditional “raver-esque” niche (well there was a fair amount of weirdos in attendance), but also welcoming the rock’em sock’em Electro community into the neighborhood.

The 13th Annual Electric Daisy Carnival was ridiculous this year with a record 45,000 electronic aficionados in attendance on Friday and slightly over 90,000 for Saturdays gran finale . No other promotion company is pulling off this kind of monstrosity in the “City of Angles”! Insomniac, we applaud you and thank you for inviting us out to experience this goodness first hand, until next year! = )
