Weighting in at 2.8 pounds (1.6 kilograms), design team Bombardier/VANOC, has created the world’s largest joint torch. As you may have guessed, the torch will be used in the 2010 Olympic games in Vancouver, Canada. The joint torch heights in at 37.125 inches (94.5 centimetres) and is made up of stainless steel, aluminum and sheet moulding compounds. It’s expected to burn anywhere from 12-15 minutes, which is pretty good considering what you will be lighting up (blend of Propane, Isobutane and Hydrocarbons).
